Vikings Norseman Toro 1600 900 Michel Arlia

The Vikings Norseman Toro is a cigar made in the Dominican Republic, at Tabacalera Alianza, the cigar factory of Ernesto Perez Carrillo. The mind behind the brand is the one of Hakon Aanonsen, that created the brand. Under a Dominican cigar, it beats a Norwegian heart.

Viking Norseman Toro

Cigars are wrapped up in a colorado shade leaf. The unfinished foot, with the wrapper not covering it completely, make the cigar not go unnoticed. The band used is a metal one, as it happens for all Viking’s line. Construction is excellent.

Viking Norseman Toro

Vikings Norseman Toro: rich nutty scents are perceivable to the cold draw. The first few puffs deliver aromas of coffee beans and earth.

Viking Norseman Toro

The first section confirms the nutty notes, with the hazelnut standing out. There are also season wood aromas, together with vegetal hints. Strength is mild to medium (2.5/5).

In the central section, the flavor profile gets richer. There is now a mix of nuts (hazelnut and walnut), together with leather and earth. Strength increases, reaching a medium level (3/5).

The final third alternates coffee beans and leather. The strength doesn’t change (3/5) till the end, delivering a very balanced finale.

Overall, the Vikings Norseman Toro delivers a very refined and balanced smoke, that gets richer and more intense from the second third. The flavor profile evolves well during the fruition and it is structured. Excellent construction and very compact ash.
