Vegueros Centrofino

Vegueros Centrofino 1600 900 Giuseppe Mitolo

The Vegueros Centrofino was the last product of the brand to be released in chronological order (2018), after a general relaunch of the brand and all its references in 2013. The vitola de Galera bears the same name as that of the actual size: Centrofino.
Like all the brand’s cigars, the Centrofinos are sold in 16-ct metal tins and 4-ct cardboard packs.

Vegueros Centrofino

Visually, the cigars are rolled in Colorado wrappers, with sometimes reddish-brown reflections. The leaf is slightly wrinkled to the touch, with evident but not too marked veins. The filling cannot be called generous, but it does not mean that there are any gaps. The overall construction is good.

Vegueros Centrofino

Vegueros Centrofino: unlit, evident aromas of wood and leather are perceived, with a slight hint of cocoa.

Vegueros Centrofino

The opening reveals a delicately sapid but also acidic smoke to the palate. It expresses woody and vegetal notes with a nutty nuance. Strength is medium (3/5).

In the central part, the sapidity increases while the initial acid nuance turns into a bitter hint. The aromas remain stable on the woody and vegetal tones. Strength increases to medium-full (4/5).

The last third appears to be a long continuation of the central third. Everything remains completely unchanged, including strength (4/5).

In conclusion, the Vegueros Centrofino is a very rustic smoke, with a flavor profile that struggles to open up and an almost completely absent evolution.
