The Vegas Robaina Famosos was released in 1997 when the brand was officially introduced to the world. It is one of the few cigars in the Cuban portfolio to have as a vitola de Galera a Hermoso No. 4. Currently, the Famosos and Unicos are the only products of the brand after the discontinuation of three of the five sizes presented at the launch.
It has always been sold in a dress box of 25 units, although there have been 3-count cardboard boxes (discontinued in 2006) and 5-count cardboard boxes (discontinued in 2009).
Visually it is dressed in bright Colorado wrapper with brown reflections but also reddish sometimes. The wrapper relatively smooth to the touch, with pretty light veins, and the overall construction is excellent, as is the draw.

Vegas Robaina Famosos:Â well-defined aromas of hazelnut, wood, and vegetal notes are perceived in the cold draw, enriched by a nuance of white pepper.
The Vegas Robaina Famosos returns a more than satisfying smoke. The medium strength allows it to be appreciated by a broad spectrum of cigar lovers: the new smoker will find a slightly more robust cigar, while the seasoned smoker will choose it for an undemanding, but not trivial, smoke. The flavor profile is appreciable, although a broader evolution would allow it to aspire to higher marks.Â
