Mike Tyson, the former heavyweight champion, is collaborating with Gurkha Cigars to release a new cigar named Tyson 2.0 Undisputed. The project is between Gurkha and LGNDS, a marketing and brand-building company currently controlling the Tyson-branded product license.
These cigars are made in the Dominican Republic by El Artista Cigars and will be available in two varieties – Habano and Maduro. The Habano version is made with an Ecuador Habano wrapper, Indonesian binder, and filler from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The Maduro version comes with a Mexican San Andrés wrapper, Cameroon binder, and filler from the Dominican Republic and the United States.
Both the Maduro and Habano versions come in 15-count boxes and are offered in two sizes: a Toro measuring 54 x 152 mm (6″) and a 7-by-60 x 178 mm (7″) Churchill ($19.90). They are priced at $19 and $19.90 respectively.
These cigars will be showcased at the upcoming PCA trade show in Las Vegas before being made available to retailers in early May.
