Trinidad Vigia: before lighting the cigar up, earthy and spicy hints can be perceived. The opening is herbal.

The first part opens up with aromas of hazelnut, spices and young wood. Strenght is medium (3/5).

Moving on into the second part of the smoke, notes of earth, black pepper and spices alternate. Getting close to the finale, some puffs are less balanced and slightly bitter note gets delivered a little bit sooner than the end. Strength is now medium-full (4/5).

Overall, a smoke characterized by a good aromatic palette, as well as the intensity. However, persistency is very limited. Balance is jeopardized in some parts of the second half and the ammonia reaching the nose underlines that this cigar still needs some aging time, which is a common aspect in almost all the recent Cuban releases.
