The last 2 years, Tatuaje Cigars released two new sizes of Cojonu, also known as “The Lost Years”. In 2022, the brand introduced the Cojonu 2015, measuring 55 x 127 mm (5“), and in 2023 they added the Cojonu 2018, a 54 x 143 mm (5 5/8”) soft box press parejo.
At the PCA conference in March, the brand introduced the Tatuaje Cojonu 2015 Broadleaf and the Tatuaje Cojonu 2018 Broadleaf. These will be added to the lineup in what Tatuaje refers to as Limited Regular Production, meaning they will be made in one single batch per year, but still considered part of their core production.
Both sizes are dressed in a US Broadleaf wrapper, over Nicaraguan binders and filler, and are being produced at the My Father Cigars factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. As Tatuaje did with the 2015 and 2018 releases, these will come in 21 count boxes (3 rows of 7). Suggested retail prices are set at $13 for the 2015, and $13.50 for the 2018.
The first shipment is in stock and shipping to retailers now.
