Springarda 2019

Once the package is opened, the wrappers of the three cigars are quite uniform. The cigar is very rustic, as expected, to the touch, with very pronounced veins. Construction and the filling appear regular. They are slightly to humid, we preferred to let the cigar rest to make it lose some humidity.

Springarda 2019

Spingarda d’Anghiari: unlit, powerful aromas of pepper and nuts are perceived, followed by a less intense note of natural rubber.

Springarda 2019

Once lit, the cigar is well-balanced between the sapid and bitter characteristics, with a spicy sensations that disappear after a few minutes. The flavors circle around wood and earth, with a hint of walnut. Strength is medium – full (4/5).

Continuing, there is also a slight astringency that will accompany the smoker until the last puffs. The flavor profile changes slightly, with very intense notes of wood and walnut, followed by a hint of leather. Strength becomes full (5/5).

Overall, this Spingarda d’Anghiari 2019 also confirms and satisfies the expectations of smokers who wait a year for this cigar. The balance between strength and flavor was good. Too bad for the astringency that, in the second half, is present until the last puffs.
