Senorial Maduro Opulento is produced in the Dominican Republic at Tabacalera Palma, by Jose Blanco. Not to be confused by the owner of Tabacalera Palma, Jose “Yochi” Blanco.

It presents a Maduro colored wrapper, that is rustic to the touch. Construction is great and the cigar is well made.
Senorial Maduro Opulento: cocoa in the cold draw. The cigar starts out with herbal notes.
Aged wood reach the palate in the first third, followed by a suave pepperiness (white pepper). Continuing, herbs and hints of licorice are added to the bouquet. Strength is slightly over medium (3,5/5).
In the middle section, the cigars reveals roasted coffee and cappuccino notes, with wood and white pepper still present in the background. Strength stays constant (3,5/5).
In the final third, the vegetal notes perceived in the beginning returns, together with hints of cinnamon. Strength increases, becoming medium – full (4/5) and gives rise to a satisfying finish.
Overall, the Senorial Maduro Opulento presents an intense and harmonious smoke. The cigar has also a discrete evolution, which is fundamental in a size that will take one hour and a half to finish. Well balanced.
