The first third releases notes of earth and nuts, where the unripe hazelnut stands out. Spicy notes, black pepper, are outlined it the finish. Strength stands sligthly above medium level (3.5/5).

The second third confirms the earth and the spices, the latter however, of a much more contained intensity. About halfway through the cigar, wood appear as well. Strength does not vary and remains constant (3.5/5).

The final third has the earthy component becoming more pronounced in the finish. The spices are also reinvigorated in the last puffs. Strength does not change (3.5/5).

Overall, the Rocky Patel Vintage 2006 San Andres Robusto releases good flavor intensity with a moderate evolution. What shines less instead, is the complexity, which is not particularly deep.
