Quai d’Orsay No.54: slight scents of cedar wood can be perceived before lighting it up. The opening continues on woody notes.
The first third gives off cedar wood, roasted notes and dried fruit with shell (mainly hazelnut). The strength is light (2/5).
The central third continues without too many variations. Some aromatic herbs hits are added to the bouquet. The strength doesn’t change (2/5).
The last sector on cedar wood and dried fruit with shell. The component of aromatic herbs gets more relevant and the protagonist in the final. Strength does not vary (2/5).
Overall, the Quai d’Orsay No.54 delivers a smoke in line with what can be expected from the brand: the cigar is equipped with a gentle strength and an elegant aromatic palette. However, the evolution is particularly contained and the cigar is at times monotonous, especially in the second half.
