Plasencia Reserva Organica Cortes: hints of walnut in the cold draw. The opening brings notes of hay to the palate and is very creamy.
The first third reports the same flavors that were perceived in the cold draw: nuts, walnut to be more precise. Continuing, it also reveals wood and light spices (white pepper). Strength is medium (3/5).
A mix of walnut, earth and spices continues in the second third. Strength stays on a constant medium level (3/5).
The last third doesn’t show any huge changes and the strength stays unchanged as well (3/5).
Overall, a cigar that presents an aromatic palette and evolution that are not particularly developed. In respect to the other cigars of the Reserva Organica line, the Cortes results to be the least performing, in various aspects. Nevertheless, a discrete smoke, even if it differs greatly from the other Reserva Organica.
