Plasencia cigars has recently announced the launch of a new cigar line. This is the “Alma del Fuego”, which follows the lines “Alma Fuerte” and “Alma de Campo”, presented in recent years. The official debut of “Alma del Fuego” will take place at the IPCPR 2019 (International Premium Cigar & Pipe Retailers Association), which will be held between June 28 and July 2, at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, in Las Vegas, Nevada (USA).
Nestor Plasencia declared “to be very grateful, and at the same time happy, to launch the third Alma line, which continues the 150-year history of the Plasencia family in the world of tobacco”.
“Alma del Fuego” means “soul of the fire”, and is the representation of the volcanic soil that is the icon of the island of Ometepe, in Nicaragua. This is because the filler of this line contains mainly leafs grown in Ometepe. The blend is 100% Nicaraguan, as all the leaves used were grown in Nicaragua.
“Alma del Fuego” will consist of three cigars:
- Candente – Robusto (50 x 127 mm -5″)
- Flama – Panetela (38 x 165 mm -6 ½”)
- Concepción – Toro (54 x 152 mm – 6″)
Cigars will be available from mid-July (in the USA) and will be sold in boxes of 10 (as already seen for the other “Alma” lines, the upper part of the box can be used as an ashtray).
