Patina Connecticut Rustic: the cold draw reveals hazelnut and floral characters, with a barely hinted coffee note in the background.

The dominant aromas are wood and vegetal notes, but also a slight spiciness. Strength is medium (3/5).

Progressing into the second third, the initial acidity is mitigated by a surprisingly sweet taste, that balances out the flavor profile. Strength grows to a medium-full (4/5).

The flavors do not change in the final third: the vanilla grows a bit in intensity, the pepper is unchanged, while the wood becomes finer. Strength remains unchanged (4/5).

This Patina Connecticut Rustic is a simple but interesting product. Particularly intrigue is the sweet-bitter mix. A little subdued is the evolution and intensity, even if the flavor profile presents a combination of different and uncommon characters. Average post-smoke persistency.
