Partagas Serie P No.1: before lighting the cigar up it gives off intense notes of cedar wood and hints of black pepper. Opening delivers herbal flavors.
The first third opens up with a spicy mix of black pepper and cinnamon. Notes of aromatic herbs are present as well. Strength is medium-full (4/5).
In the second third no changes are present, except for the aromatic herbs, which are becoming bolder which makes it the dominant flavor. Strength is constant (4/5).
In the last third it changes into earthy and spicy flavors, coherent with the Partagas style.
Overall, a cigar delivering a balanced smoke, with an aromatic palette that is contained, but coherent with the Partagas brand. Intensity great.
