is not a traditional Piramide sized cigar, so much so that the cigar does not have a pointed head, but the tapering starts from the foot.

Aesthetically, it is dressed in a Colorado shaded wrapper, that is slightly rough to the touch. The filling is generous, even if some veins are perceptible.
Padron Serie 1964 Piramide Natural: unlit, earthy and peppery notes (black pepper) present. The opening releases notes of hazelnut and spices, white pepper.
The first third brings notes of hot spices and walnut to the palate. There is a pleasant bitterish vein perceptible. Advancing into the smoke, a mix of milk chocolate and black pepper is released. Strength is medium – full (4/5).
In the second third, the flavor profile becomes more limited, with notes of earth and walnut alternating. Strength remains constant (4/5).
No changes in the final third. Strength decreases, reaching a level that is slightly above the medium (3.5/5).
Overall, the Padron Serie 1964 Piramide Natural releases a smoke that excels in the first third, but then sees the flavor profile thin out and become more and more contained. Evolution is not its forte. Balance, instead, is great, especially in the first half.
