The Oliva Serie V Torpedo is one of eight cigars produced by the brand under the Serie V line. This series was the flagship of the Oliva Cigar Co., having been launched in 2007.Â
Nicaraguan tobaccos are used for the filler (with Ligero grown in Jalapa) and the binder. The wrapper is a sun-grown Ecuadorian leaf. All the cigars in the line, including the Torpedo, are sold in SLBs of 24 cigars.
The cigar is dressed in a shiny Maduro wrapper with brown reflections. It is very smooth to the touch, albeit with some perceptible veins present. The construction is good, with a generous filling.

Oliva Serie V Torpedo:Â cocoa and hazelnut are immediately perceptible in the cold draw. A more moderate woody note and some spicy nuances are also present.
Overall, the Oliva Serie V Torpedo is a cigar that produces a decent smoke with intense aromas, but the profile is limited, making for a rather linear experience.
