The wrapper is of a Colorado Maduro shade, smooth to the touch. Filling is generous. The over sized band dresses a fair amount of the cigar.

My Father Garcia & Garcia: rich notes of cocoa in the cold draw. It starts out with cocoa and vegetal aromas, paired with some spices.

The first third continues with the vegetal notes, followed by wood and vanilla. There is white pepper perceivable in the background. The strength is medium (3/5).

The second third keeps the vegetal notes, while the spices in the background turn to green pepper. Honey notes and piquant spices are perceivable aswell. The strength increases slightly (3,5/5).

The cigar changes completely in the final third: earth and balsamic herbs take turn, while the later becomes more pronounced the closer you get to the finish.

Overall a smoke with great balance. The use of quality tobacco is well noticable. Good aromatic intensity and a decent evolution. The cigar is very creamy, although given the price we had expected something more, especially on the evolution side (considering that the cigar has a smoking time of well over 2 hours). Nevertheless, still a good product.
