Muestra de Saka The Bewitched is Dunbarton Tobacco’s limited edition, the seventh in order of appearance. For this edition, a large Lonsdale-sized format was chosen, sold in the usual boxes of seven coffins.
It is rolled in a slightly opaque wrapper of a Maduro shade with brown reflections. To the touch, it is slightly silky with medium veins. The construction is optimal, with the head finished in a pigtail and “box pressed” structure. Draw and filling are good.

Muestra de Saka The Bewitched: intense mineral and cocoa aromas are present in the cold draw.
Once lit, the smoke is delicately sapid and acidic on the palate, expressing mineral, earthy and woody aromas, all of equal intensity. Strength is medium (3/5).
In the central section, the sapidity becomes more incisive, while the initial acidity vanishes. Alongside the earthy note, which has remained unchanged, there are equal notes of cocoa and black pepper, as well as robust notes of nuts and undergrowth. Strength increases, becoming medium-full (4/5).
In the last third, the palatal perception remains unchanged, while the black pepper note increases in intensity, leaving cocoa and earth in the background. Strength remains unchanged (4/5).
Overall, the Muestra de Saka The Bewitched is a very interesting cigar. It produces an intense and rich smoke, particularly in the central section, where the aromas are many and chase each other, making the tasting of each third appear almost infinite. The relationship between strength and aromas is also excellent, although the former is not light but not strong enough to be invasive. This cigar was awarded third place in the 2022 CigarsLover Magazine Awards for Nicaragua.
