Presentation of the Exclusivo is eye catching: each cigar is packaged in wooden coffins. Same goes for the cigar, it is well made with a generous and even filling. Everything is rolled in a beautiful oily smooth Colorado Maduro wrapper.
Muestra de Saka Exclusivo: the cold draw reveals a mix of earth and wood. Once lit, the cigar starts out very creamy, almost buttery, with notes of cedar wood.
Continuing into the first third, the prominent flavors are cedar and earth. Hazelnut and hints of coffee follow. The retro-hale presents a mix of spices, white pepper and cinnamon. Strength is mild to medium (2,5/5).
The second third becomes even creamier, with a very smooth smoke. The earth and cedar move to the background and hazelnut is now at the helm. A combination of chocolate and coffee comes and goes. The mix of spices is almost exclusively felt in the retro-hale. Strength increases slightly (3/5).
The final third is a continuation of the previous one. Flavor intensity increases slightly. The smoke continues to be ample and very creamy. Vegetal notes appear towards, with some spices that can now be tasted on the palate. Strength stays medium (3/5).
Overall, the Exclusivo is a very balanced and elegant smoke. The flavors are well layered and the sweet base make this a well rounded cigar. Construction is impeccable, with a razor sharp and even burn.
