The Montosa Toro was one of the first three sizes launched, in 2019, with the new Montosa line from one of Germany’s traditional cigar companies Arnold André.
The blend, Ecuador Connecticut wrapper over a Mexican Sumatra binder and Dominican fillers, had been in the works for three years. They are made at the company’s factory Tabacalera Arnold André in the Dominican Republic and are sold in 20-ct boxes.
The cigars are dressed up in Claro-colored wrapper leaf. The filling is quite uniform, and the general construction is good.

Montosa Toro:Â the cold draw reveals earthy scents with a floral touch. The opening brings earthy notes and vegetal nuances to the palate.Â
Overall, the Montosa Toro is a nicely balanced smoke with a decent intensity. The evolution is rather linear, but the cigar is enjoyable from the first to the last puff.
