Macanudo celebrates his 50th anniversary with a new line called Inspirado Red, that should be available around the end of March.
Macanudo Inspirado Red uses an Ecuadorian Habano Ligero wrapper, Nicaraguan binder from Jalapa and aged fillers. The blend is composed of three different tobaccos with different ages: 12 year old tobacco from Ometepe, 5 year old from Estelì and finally 10 year old from the Jamastran Valley, in Honduras.
José de Castro, VP of Marketing of General Cigar Co. has declared: “Nicaraguan cigars are very appreciated at the moment, we have created Macanudo Inspirado Red to show how the brand adapts to the tastes of the current cigar lovers”.
It comes in 3 sizes:
- Macanudo Inspirado Red Robusto, 50 x 127 mm
- Macanudo Inspirado Red Toro, 50 x 152 mm
- Macanudo Inspirado Red Gigante, 60 x 152 mm
Inspirado Red is made in Esteli, Nicaragua, and will be sold in 20 count boxes, with prices ranging from $ 129,80 and $ 149,80 depending on the size.
