Caldwell’s new Long Live the Queen line, which was showcased at this year’s PCA trade show, is scheduled to be shipped in October.
Long Live the Queen is a regular production line made at the El Maestro Factory (owned by William Ventura) in the Dominican Republic. The blend consists of a Cameroon wrapper over an Indonesian Sumatra binder and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers, and it comes in five sizes:
- Queen’s Ace of Hearts, 52 x 152mm (6″)
- Queen’s Club, 56 x 152mm (6″)
- Queen’s Court, 52 x 127mm (5″)
- Queen’s Sceptre, 50 x 152mm (6″)
- Queen’s Sword, 38 x 178mm (7″)
The Ace of Hearts comes in a box-pressed shape, and production for this specific cigar is limited to 700 boxes with a retail price of $18. Prices of the other sizes will range from $14 to $16 per cigar. All sizes will be sold in white ten-count boxes.
