Aesthetically the Colorado toned Sancti Spiritus wrapper showcases a smooth and oily texture, with minimal veining. The cigar is filled generously and homogeneously.

L’Atelier Côte d’Or La Tâche: the cold draw reveals some floral notes, with a sweet base. The cigar starts out with a combination of floral and spices.

The first third sees the floral note being the main flavor, followed by notes of ripe fruits. In the background are notes of white pepper and cream, which makes the finish very smooth. The strength is medium light (2,5/5).

Transitioning into the second third, cedar wood appears, becoming the main aroma during the third. The rest of the bouquet stays the same, as the strength (2,5/5).

While ripe fruits and floral notes stay as the main notes in this final third, the background sees some slight changes going on. Next to the white pepper and cream, hints of leather and nut appear, nicely rounding up the flavor profile. The strength increases only lightly and become medium (3/5).

Overall, the L’Atelier Côte d’Or La Tâche is an elegant smoke, with a good intensity and medium strength. A good cigar for the morning. The only downside of the La Tâche is, for the price, the lack in evolution, which makes the cigar static in parts.
