IndianHead Cigars, distributor of La Galera cigars, has announced a new product related to the brand, called Gavillero Perfecto. Aesthetically, the cigar measures 171 mm in length; Furthermore, the foot and the head of the cigar are both open.
In addition, he said: “Gavilleros are usually hand-pressed but, for this launch, the factory has created a special mold, so the cigar was called Gavillero Perfecto.”
The wrapper is a dark Mexican San Andrés, with a Dominican Corojo binder. Filler is all Dominican and made up of Piloto Cubano and Criollo ’98, the Dominican tobaccos used have been cultivated directly by José Blanco. Retail price has not yet been announced, the launch will presumably take place at the coming IPCPR but Butler has expressed a willingness to anticipate it.
