The Joya de Nicaragua Numero 1 L’Ambassadeur is a cigar made in Nicaragua. Production was initially quite particular: the cigars were in fact used as a diplomatic gift and were dressed in a more minimal band than that are used now that it has become a regular production. Due to the recent announcement of a new size, the line is now made up of three cigars.

Joya de Nicaragua Numero 1 Ambassadeur: unlit it reveals hints of hay. The opening releases a mix of spices, including white pepper, honey and toasted notes.

The first third releases hot spices, wood and floral notes. In the background, but still very present, you can perceive nutty flavors, a mix of hazelnut and almond. There are also nuances of herbs, barely perceptible, present. Strength is medium (3/5).

The second third brings a blast of nuts, among which the hazelnut and peanuts stand out, to the palate. White pepper, together with floral hints and a touch of herbs enrich the flavor profile. Strength remains constant (3/5).

In the last third, nuts and white pepper remain very present, even toward the end,. The herbal component becomes more and more pronounced. Strength does not vary (3/5), remaining under control until the end of the smoke.

Overall, the Joya de Nicaragua Number 1 Ambassadeur is a cigar with an exceptionally long finish. The range of flavors is broad and the complexity is marked. Deep and structured, it is a very interesting cigar.
