The Illusione Allegria Corona is one of five sizes that make up the Allegria line, line attributable to the Illusione brand owned by Dion Giolito. Production is handled by AGANORSA Factory in Estelì, with tobaccos of Nicaraguan origin.
All Illusione sizes are sold in 25-ct boxes.
At sight, the cigar is wrapped in a bright Colorado band, with brown reflections. To the touch it appears very smooth with very little marked veining. The filling appears homogeneous, while the draft seems to be slightly tight. The general manufacturing is excellent.

Illusione Allegria Corona: aromas of cocoa and spices, of good intensity, are perceptible in the cold draw, while woody hints are present in the background.
Once lit, the smoke is savory in the mouth and releases very intense woody aromas, followed by less evident spicy and earthy hints. Strength is medium-high (4/5).
In the central section, palatal perception and strength (4/5) remain unchanged. Aromatically the notes of wood and earth are confirmed, accompanied by a hint of walnut, all three with the same intensity.
In the last third the flavor and strength are confirmed (4/5), as is the aromatic spectrum of the second third, with the only difference linked to the walnut aroma which in this part of the smoke becomes more accentuated, outclassing the wood and the earth.
Overall, the Illusione Allegria Corona it offers a very rustic, straightforward and no-frills smoke. The sustained strength and well-defined aromas thus summarize a direct smoke, for those looking for “everything right away”. On the other hand, a slightly too contracted evolution and an aromatic spectrum that was expected to be slightly more varied are sacrificed. However, it remains a convincing choice for a sumptuous after-meal.
