Aesthetically, it presents a Colorado Maduro shaded wrapper. Smooth to the touch. The cigar itself is somewhat underfilled and reveals a couple of gaps.
Fratello The Boxer: floral notes, reminiscent of chamomile, are present in the cold draw. The opening brings toasted flavors to the palate.
The first third alternates with toasty notes and wood, with smoky hints in the aftertaste. There is also a spicy component perceptible, which is outlined in green pepper. Strength is medium (3/5).
In the second third, fresh wood appear next to the omnipresent toasted notes. Some pepper remains perceptible, and accompanies each puff, giving more depth to the flavor profile.
The last third does not show any changes in flavor. Strength increases slightly (3.5/5).
The flavor profile is not the widest and the evolution is rather contained as well. The only change is perceptible between the first two thirds of smoke.
