Fratello Bianco IV

Fratello Bianco IV 1600 900 Giuseppe Mitolo

The Fratello Bianco IV is a cigar from the brand’s Bianco line. The brand offers three versions of their “core line”: the Bianco, the Classico, and the Oro (Italian for White, Classic, and Gold). The Bianco line, in particular, comes in five sizes, including the IV.

They are made at the Joya de Nicaragua Factory in Esteli, Nicaragua, and are sold in white 20-count boxes.

The cigar is dressed in an opaque Maduro-shaded wrapper with brown reflections. To the touch, it is rough with medium pronounced veins, and the construction and the draw are good.

Fratello Bianco IV

Fratello Bianco IV: very intense aromas of cocoa are perceived in the cold draw, followed by less marked notes of wood and spices.

Fratello Bianco IV

The smoke on the palate is rather sweet in the opening, while it expresses aromas of spices and nuts, enriched by earthy nuances. Strength is medium (3/5).

In the central section, the initial sweetness gives way to a very evident sapidity, while notes of cocoa, earth, and wood are present. Strength increases, becoming medium-full (4/5).

In the last third, the sapidity remains unchanged, as well as the strength (4/5), while the aromas of wood and earth become very intense, covering any other possible flavor present.

Ultimately, the Fratello Bianco IV offers a good smoke with well-defined aromas. Although present and marked, the strength does not overshadow the flavor profile. However, a slightly contracted evolution in a Toro size makes the experience somewhat monotonous.
