The El Septimo Blue Bullet is part of the El Septimo brand’s Luxus Collection, which has as its objective the production and sale of cigars out of every scheme, with very aged tobaccos destined for the luxury market. A clear example is the Blue Bullet, a cigar measuring only 88.5 millimeters made with tobacco aged for eight years and offered for sale in boxes of ten at a price of more than 22 Euros each.
The cigar is dressed in a Maduro leaf that is rough to the touch. Construction is good, and the foot is closed in a sort of pigtail.

El Septimo Blue Bullet: the cold draw reveals scents of cocoa. The first puffs deliver vegetal notes, some hazelnut and cocoa.
The first half of the cigar is all about smoky notes and nuts. The strength is medium to full (4.5/5).
In the second half, both the flavor profile and strength remain unchanged. The cigar becomes harsh and bitter, forcing the end of the smoke earlier than expected.
Overall, the El Septimo Blue Bullet delivers a decent smoke in the first half, but it involves quite a bit in the second. Considering the size of the cigar and its duration, which is even more reduced due to the bitterness developed in the second part, it is tough to recommend it without even considering the price.
