Drew Estate has announced the launch of two new releases exclusive to the international market: the Liga Privada Unico Serie Papas Bravas and the Undercrown 10 Flying Pig.
The Papas Bravas is a meticulously crafted cigar featuring a distinctive pigtail cap. It is made with a mix-filler blend of three distinct Nicaraguan tobacco varietals and one Honduran leaf. The Brazilian Mata Fina binder complements the star of the show: a rich Connecticut Broadleaf Oscuro wrapper. The blend is offered in two sizes: Robusto (54 x 127 mm – 5”) and Toro (52 x 152 mm – 6”), and they are sold in 20-count boxes.
According to Jonathan Drew, Founder and President of Drew Estate, “I call these little cigars ‘bangers’ because you smoke them to the very end, basically until you burn your fingers. Expect notes of licorice, black pepper, sweet spice, and full-bodied tobacco stank.” The Papas Bravas cigars are now available at select European retailers.
Drew Estate’s iconic Flying Pig size will be added to their Undercrown 10th Anniversary expression. The Undercrown 10 Flying Pig features the renowned Mexican San Andrés Negro wrapper, paired with a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and a blend of select Brazilian Mata Fina and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. The cigar comes in the distinct 60 x 100 mm (3 15/16”) Perfecto shape known as the legendary Flying Pig.
According to Jonathan Drew, “Undercrown is the cigar born from the hands and hearts of our factory floor. The Flying Pig vitola is a symbol of life’s rugged journey, and now added to our 10th-year anniversary, A Decade of Dedication.”
Both new releases will be showcased at the Intertabac 2024 taking place from September 19-21.
