Further into the first third, a sweet creamy note appears next to the wood and leather. There is a fleeting spicy component present in the retrohale. Strength is medium-light (2/5).

The flavor intensity in the second third drops slightly and now only the wood is present. The cigar become bitter toward the end of the second third. Strength is unchanged.

The profile is confirmed in the last third and is a long continuation of the previous one.

Overall, the Dona Flor Puro Mata Fina Robusto starts as a balanced smoke with an interesting flavor profile. Unfortunately, from the second third on, the flavor profile involves and drops in intensity, making for a one-dimensional remaining cigar.
