Aesthetically the cigar is dressed up in a colorado shade wrapper. The filling has no defects.
Davidoff Nicaragua Box Pressed Robusto: before to light it up, rich nutty aromas are perceivable. The opening delivers spicy notes (black pepper).
The first third continues on the peppery notes, followed now by earth and aged wood. The strength is slightly over the medium (3,5/5).
In the second third the wood becomes the main aroma, while the spices move to the background. The strength doesn’t change.
The last sector changes the profile once again: the spices get richer, followed by piquant peaks and wood notes. The strength increases, becoming medium to full (4/5).
Overall an harmonious and balanced smoke. The aromatic palette, even if it’s not among the widest, is intense. The finale is satisfying.
