Davidoff will participate in the charity auction scheduled for the Procigar, held on February 21, by contributing with the “Year of the Rat” humidor.

Davidoff Humidor Year of the Rat

The humidor is inspired by the packaging used in the “Year of the Rat” limited edition 2020 dedicated to the Chinese zodiac. It comes in a red lacquered lid with a round plate in the center on which there is a stylized icon engraved, simple but at the same time sophisticated, representing a mouse.

By opening the humidor, through two comfortable gold-colored knobs, you have access to 88 Toro sized cigars (cepo 52 x 152 mm in length). The cigar is made up of an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and Dominican fillers.

On the inside of the lid is an effigy of the mouse composed of stones in colors that praise the qualities of the “rat”: bright, optimistic and energetic. The colors green and blue represent his lucky colors. The blue part is made with extraordinary Larimar stones, a rare blue variety of pectolite (a sodium and calcium silicate that is often found associated with zeolites available only in the Dominican Republic), its color varies from white, light blue, green-blue to intense blue.

Both accessories are kept in a drawer covered in light brown leather at the bottom of the humidor. All the gold parts of the humidifier are plated with 5 micro gold.
