The Le Carême Belicosos Finos Limited Edition size was initially released by Crowned Heads Cigars in 2018 and since then has been a yearly release, except for 2020. The 2021 release is limited to 1,000 boxes and significantly lower than the 2,500 in 2019.
Blend-wise, the Limited Edition doesn’t vary from the regular production Le Carême line. Like the prior years, the 2021 is also produced at the La Alianza factory in the Dominican Republic.
The wrapper is of a Maduro color with a reddish hue and a bit of tooth to it, characteristic of a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. Construction is excellent, and the filling is generous, with almost no give when squeezed.

Le Carême Belicosos Finos Limited Edition 2021: the cold draw reveals wood, spice, and cocoa aromas. Once lit, the cigar opens with nuts, leather, and vegetal notes.
Overall, the Crowned Heads Le Carême Belicosos Finos Limited Edition 2021 is a balanced and light-bodied smoke. The flavors are well outlined, and the dialed-back strength makes them shine even more. The only complaint is that the intensity and persistence of the aromas on the finish are almost none existent as soon as the smoke is expelled.
