The Cohiba Serie M line from General Cigar Co. is getting a third size. It started with a single Toro size back in 2021, which was our number-one cigar in the Rest of the World category. A year later, a Corona Gorda size was added. Now, the newest addition to the Serie M family is called Prominente.
Like the rest of the line, the Cohiba Serie M Prominente is also made in Miami at the El Titan de Bronze factory. The blend remains unchanged, meaning a Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper over Nicaraguan binders and a mix of Dominican (Piloto Cubano) and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos (from the Esteli and Jalapa regions). The cigar comes in a big Churchill size, measuring 50 x 178mm (7″).
Like the predecessors, the Prominente will be sold in 10-ct boxes, which are limited to a total of 4,000 pieces. Everything remains the same. Surprisingly enough, the retail price as well, which is set at $29.99 per cigar.
The Prominente is scheduled to arrive at stores next month.
