The Charter Oak Habano by Foundation Cigar is a new cigar line that will soon be available. Right now, the Charter Oak is made of two versions, respectively dressed up in a Connecticut Shade and in a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. The Habano will be a new edition to this line. The blend is made of an Ecuador Habano wrapper, together with binder and fillers from Nicaragua.
The packaging on the Habano will display the same historic 600-year-old oak central to Connecticut’s legacy of independence and industry. It will be set apart by a honey colored box and black corner label. Like its predecessors, it will share the same five sizes in 20 count boxes as well as a larger count sixth size unique to the Habano.
The sizes will be the same already present in the other current two lines, plus a new vitola:
- Grande – 60 x 512 mm (6″)
- Lonsdale – 46 x 159mm (6 ¼”)
- Petite Corona – 42 x 133 mm (5 ¼”)
- Rothschild – 50 x 114mm (4 ½”)
- Toro – 52 x 152mm (6″)
- Torpedo (the new size)– 52 x 152 mm (6″)
Cigars will reach the market in late September.
