The peculiarity of this line resides in the aging of the tobacco leafs inside of oak barrels, used for the production of Kentucky bourbon. The leafs are placed inside the barrels and aged for 5 months and every barrel contains a little over of 3,5 kg of tobacco. This process gives the leafs a particular aroma, that is very perceptible during the smoking.

Aesthetically it presents itself dressed in a Maduro colored wrapper, slightly rough to the touch. Touching down the cigar, it reveals a generous and homogeneous filling.

Camacho Barrel Aged Robusto: the cold draw presents woody notes. Starting out, the cigar reveals aromas of earth and wood.
The first third is very creamy and starts out with spicy and nutty notes. The construction is perfect and the smoke is full bodied. The strength starts out on a medium to full level (4/5).

The middle section continues with the same aromatic palate, without any changes. The same goes for the strength, that stays unchanged.

The last third alternates between notes of hazelnut and roasted coffee. The earth lingers in the background. The base becomes slightly salty and the finish is satisfying.

Overall an exceptionally balanced smoke, that develops a balanced and well „amalgamated“ bouquet of aromas, but without a particularly accentuated evolution.
