The C.A.O. Amazon Anaconda is a cigar made in Nicaragua and this line is easily recognizable, due to the lack of a band, replaced by a piece of tobacco rolled on itself. This rustic look, completely represent what these cigars stand for: a cigar made with “wild” tobacco. This is because the hearth of this line is a particular tobacco variety, called Braganca, which comes from the Amazon and it is cultivated in very limited quantities.

C.A.O. Amazon Anaconda: scents of earth are perceivable to the cold draw. The first few puffs delivers notes of cocoa and earth.

The first third delivers a mix of sweet and slightly bitter flavors, perfectly balanced to each other. There are rich notes of cocoa and earth, followed by hints of balsamic herbs in the background. The strength is just a bit above the medium level (3.5/5).

In the middle section, the flavor profile is enriched by seasoned wood and spices (a mix of black pepper and piquant peaks). Strength is now medium to full (4/5).

In the last section the flavor profile is confirmed, with notes of earth, cocoa and wood. The spicy component is richer and richer getting close to the final part of the cigar, where a riot of piquant spices end the smoke in a very satisfying way. Strength doesn’t change (4/5).
