The Bohekio Robusto is one of the four sizes with which Supreme Tabacco S.A. debuted in the world of cigars. This company was founded in 2015 with the intention of selling tobacco grown in Haiti to other producers, but it decided to start producing cigars under the new Bohekio brand only in 2021.
“Bohekio” is the name of a cacique, a Taino ruler who reigned in a certain area of Haiti and is honored by having his effigy on the band. This brand’s cigars are produced in the Dominican Republic. They start with native Haitian tobacco for the filler and binder and are wrapped in Dominican sun-grown leaf. All cigars are sold in 20-ct boxes.
The cigar is rolled in a slightly opaque wrapper of a Colorado Maduro shade. To the touch, it appears relatively smooth, with some small veins present. The filling is uniform, and the construction and draw are good.

Bohekio Robusto:Â aromas of hay and nuts are perceptible in the cold draw, enriched by spicy nuances.
Overall, the Bohekio Robusto is a more than appreciable product for being an absolute debut in the world of cigars. Although the flavor profile does not present an exaggerated spectrum in number, it presents well-defined notes. The strength is not exaggerated, but at the same time, it is a strong point, given that the flavors are pretty rustic. The cigar suffers in terms of evolution, but considering the format, it is not dull smoke.
