Bellas Artes Maduro Robusto 1600 900 Giuseppe Mitolo

The Bellas Artes Maduro Robusto is one of the five sizes of the line, launched in 2018 after the success of the Bellas Artes brand. The brand was born from the choice of AJ Fernandez, who, impressed by the visit to the Bellas Artes museum in Cuba, decided to be inspired for a new brand.

The production takes place at the Tabacalera AJ Fernandez Cigars de Nicaragua SA, and the cigars are sold in 20-count boxes.

The cigar is dressed in a dark and opaque wrapper. To the touch, however, it is silky with little marked veins. The Robusto is box pressed, and the filling is uniform.

Bellas Artes Maduro Robusto: very marked aromas of earth and cocoa are perceived in the cold draw, followed by notes of fruit in alcohol.

The cigar opens with a decidedly sapid smoke, with intense aromas of earth and wood, followed by less marked notes of cocoa and peppery nuances (black pepper). Strength is medium-light (2/5).

The central section also maintains the aromas of earth and wood, but they lose intensity slightly, while a spicy component is introduced. Strength increases, becoming medium (3/5).

The last third is less sapid than the previous two, while the spices dominate the woody and earthy notes. Strength remains medium (3/5).

Ultimately the Bellas Artes Maduro Robusto expresses a rustic smoke without losing, however, in elegance. The flavors are well outlined, but the evolution is rather contained.
