The Balmoral Series Signaturas Dueto Gran Toro is a cigar that is made at the Tabacalera La Alianza factory, by E.P. Carrillo. It is no coincidence that Carrillo’s signature appears on the band. Balmoral is a brand of Royal Agio, acquired at the beginning of this year by STG (Scandinavian Tobacco Group).
Aesthetically, the cigar is wrapped in a colorado maduro leaf, slightly rough to the touch. The construction shows no flaws. The two used bands are generous in size and the attractive white and red coloring does not make this line go unnoticed.

Balmoral Serie Signaturas Dueto Gran Toro: the cold draw reveals scents of hay and spices. The opening brings to the palate rich nutty ntoes, among which the hazelnut stands out. Vegetable nuances are also perceptible.
The first third continues on vegetable notes and hazelnut. A touch of incense also becomes perceptible, which is mostly perceivable in the background. Strength is medium-light (2.5/5).

The vegetal notes become more pronounced, as well as the spicy component, which culminates in spicy peaks in some puffs. At the end, the vegetable aroma takes over, becoming the protagonist. Strength remains constant (3/5).
Overall, the Balmoral Series Signaturas Dueto Gran Toro releases a creamy and balanced smoke, with a structured aromatic profile. The evolution is given by the change in the intensity rather than the appearance of new aromas. That said, flavors alternate well throughout the course of the smoke and the cigars is well balanced.
