Alec Bradley Prensado Gran Toro: Before lighting the cigar up licorice and spicy hints are provided. The first third brings woody, spicy and nutty (almond) notes. Smoke is sweet. Body is medium (3/5).
The second third moves on with the same flavors, but the black pepper notes are more prominent. At the same time the sweet character of the cigar is less pronounced. Strength stays at the same level.
The final third changes to earthy notes. Underwood tastes are the main ones in the finish of this Gran Toro. The overall sweet character is now changing into a bolder, stronger taste. Strength is increasing, but still balanced (3,5/5). The finish gives off hazelnut flavors.
Overall this cigar delivers a good smoke. The first third being the best one, rich in aromas and with a broader bouquet of flavors then the other 2 third. It is a balanced cigar, from start to finish, with the strength never being excessive.
