Alec Bradley Post Embargo Lancero

Alec Bradley Post Embargo Lancero : light scents of earth on the cold draw. The first few puffs are vegetal and earthy. The start is rich and intense.

The first third delivers vegetal notes, together with earth and walnut. There are also some spicy hints in the background. Strength is just a but above the medium (3.5/5) and the cigar is intense and rich.

In the middle section the spices get richer, culminating in piquant peaks. Notes of earth and balsamic herbs can be perceived as well. The base gets a little bit bitter. Strength doesn’t change (3.5/5).

In the last section, the flavor profile turns to wood and earth. The base is still a bit bitter. Strength doesn’t change till the end (3.5/5).

Overall, the Alec Bradley Post Embargo Lancero delivers a very intense smoke, but the flavor profile gets a little bit bitter in the second half. In the middle section, the balance is on the razor edge, due to a big explosion of spices that tend to cover the rest of the flavor profile. That said, it is a tasty lancero, with rich aromas from the first to the last puff.
