The La Bucanera line is a collaboration between Mombacho Cigars and Adventura Cigars. While Adventura usually makes cigars out of the Dominican Republic, the La Bucanera is made by Mombacho Cigars at their Casa Favilli factory in Granada, Nicaragua.

The line debuted in 2019 in two sizes: the Artilleria 50 and the Artilleria 56. Both cigars are sold in unique 20-count boxes.

La Bucanera Artilleria 56

Adventura Bucanera Artilleria 56: unlit, sweet hints of ripe fruit and cocoa. Particularly inviting. The opening brings notes of wood to the palate.

La Bucanera Artilleria 56

The first third alternates aromas of wood and hazelnut. It is very balanced but with a not particularly pronounced intensity. In the background, a hint of pepper is perceptible. The base is slightly sapid. Strength is medium (3/5).

The nut flavor becomes more pronounced in the central section, with the hazelnut becoming the protagonist of the smoke. The flavor intensity increases, and the cigar changes pace. The strength remains constant.

The final third continues with hazelnut and a veiled spiciness, which recalls black pepper. The strength remains constant until the end of the smoke (3/5).

Overall, the Adventure La Bucanera Artilleria 56 releases a remarkably balanced smoke, with a strength that is well under control from first to last puff. The complexity is good, and the evolution linear.
