The A.J. Fernandez Enclave brand will be getting a new Connecticut wrapper version. The initial rollout of the Connecticut will include Germany, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and South Africa. If you are in the US market, you will have to make some friends in other countries. The Enclave Connecticut was blended to meet the palates of international smokers better. There may be a glimmer of hope for the USA since the company doesn’t rule out the possibility for a domestic release in the future.
The Enclave Connecticut cigars come in three sizes. There is a 50 x 127mm (5″) Robusto, a 2 x 152mm (6″) Toro, and a 52 x 165mm (6.5″) Figurado. All three sizes will come in 20-ct boxes. Cigars will have an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper. Binder and filler tobaccos are Nicaraguan from A.J. Fernandez’s farms. Cigars will be made at A.J. Fernandez factory in EstelÃ, Nicaragua. Pricing will vary from country to country for the MSRP of the different sizes. Cigars are scheduled for a May 2021 release in the select markets.
