The La Gloria Cubana Podium is now available as France’s Regional Edition smoke for 2024. Measuring at 50 x 155 mm (6 1/8″), the Podium is referred to as Dobles in Cuban cigar factories.
Similar to other Regional Edition cigars, the Podium features a second band beneath the primary band to indicate its exclusive territory. However, unlike many Regionals, the Podium is equipped with a foot band. Also worth noting is the ribbon that holds the cigars together, which, in this release, is colored in the hues of France’s flag.
This marks the first time that a French Regional Edition has been offered in the La Gloria Cubana brand. The cigars are priced at 40 euros per cigar (approximately $43.45) and come in 10-count boxes. The production is limited to only 4,000 boxes.
