Artesano del Tobacco unveils the new size of the El Pulpo cigars called “The Fry”, a pigtailed Gordita that measures 48 x 101 mm (4″).
The new size of the El Pulpo cigars called “The Fry” means baby octopus. These cigars will start shipping to cigar shops nationwide on Friday JUNE 14th. El Pulpo Gordita (The Fry) is the same blend of the original El Pulpo cigars with its San Andreas Maduro wrapper, Nicaraguan Binder and Filler. The wrapper was fermented different from the original to give it unique flavors, all made at AJ Fernandez factory in Nicaragua.
The new EL Pulpo Gordita “The Fry” comes is a travel cardboard box, that holds 5 Gorditas, a pocket for matches (matches not included), a match striker and a magnet flip top with a childproof lock.
“Celebrating the success of the El Pulpo blend with its high Ratings, we wanted to create a size that the market is looking for, which can work with the El Pulpo blend. The Gorditas idea came from our friend Brad Seiderer 0f AJ Fernandez Sales Rep for Northeast, who suggested the size and the name. By doing that we were able to celebrate and highlight this very well aged San Andreas Maduro Wrapper,” say Billy, Bass & Gus of Artesano Del Tobacco in a press release.
