The Oliva Serie V Melanio Maduro No. 4, a Petit Corona, and is one of the latest comers, introduced in 2021, to the already established and highly acclaimed Melanio Maduro line.

Over the year, the line has grown from four sizes to now seven. The cigars are made at the Tabacalera Oliva de Nicaragua S.A. and are sold in 10-ct boxes.

The cigars are dressed up in a Maduro-colored wrapper that is rough to the touch. They are well box-pressed, as is the case for all the other sizes belonging to the Serie V Melanio series.

The first half confirms the earth and the seasoned wood, now joined by a vegetal touch. There is also a hint of walnut present in the background. The strength is medium (3/5).

The flavor profile remains the same in the second half, with only a touch of black pepper added in the background. The smoke becomes a little harsh, and the situation worsens, getting close to the end. The strength increases a little (3.5/5).

Overall, the Oliva Serie V Melanio Maduro Petit Corona delivers an intense smoke, but the flavor profile is rather limited and not that deep. The second half of the smoke is on the harsh side.
