La Flor Dominicana Oro Tubo Natural No. 6 is a Dominican cigar that uses some of the tobaccos grown on the La Canela farm in the Dominican Republic, owned by Litto Gomez (owner of the brand).
The cigars are sold in golden tubes, and the size is slightly more generous than the traditional Toros: the ring gauge is 54. The cigars are commercialized in a small box that contains five tubos.
The cigars are dressed in an oily Colorado-Claro wrapper, which is smooth to the touch. Construction is flawless, and the filling is generous and uniform.

La Flor Dominicana Oro Tubo Natural No. 6: the cold draw reveals scents of coffee beans and a touch of earth. The aromas are elegant, and the opening is sweet and mellow, with honey, wood, and earth notes.
The first third develops notes of earth and black pepper. The finish is long. In the background, there are some vegetal hints present as well. Strength is a little above the medium level (3.5/5).
In the middle third, the cigar continues with earth and black pepper, now joined by cedarwood. The vegetal hints are still present. Strength doesn’t change.
In the final third, the spicy component gets more intense, with the black pepper now accompanied by some hot spices. The aroma of coffee beans perceived in the cold draw is now back. The strength increases a bit, enough to reach a medium-full level (4/5).
Overall, the La Flor Dominicana Oro Tubo Natural No. 6 develops a lovely flavor profile. The evolution is not among the widest, but the harmony is great. The cigar is satisfying without being too strong. Well balanced.
