Drew Estate announced an entirely new Liga Privada H99 vitola, the “Super Ancho” (60 x 152mm – 6″). “Super Ancho” is Spanish for “Super Wide,” and the Liga Privada H99 Super Ancho is the first Liga Privada cigar rolled in the 6 x 60 format. An event-only cigar, Liga Privada H99 Super Ancho, will be available exclusively at all qualifying Drew Diplomat Program partner events from May to August.
Every Liga Privada H99 Connecticut Corojo cigar features a hybrid wrapper derived from Stalk-Cut Habano and Connecticut Corojo seed, which is grown exclusively for Drew Estate at one farm in the Connecticut River Valley. The blend includes a Mexican San Andres Otapan Negro Último Corte binder and Honduran, Nicaraguan, and Pennsylvania Green River One Sucker filler tobaccos.
”Super Ancho’s 6 x 60 format answers the thousands of large ring gauge requests that we’ve been fielding for Liga Privada for more than ten years,” says Drew Estate Founder and President Jonathan Drew. “We didn’t fold under pressure to get this 60-ring on the market until it was absolutely perfect and worthy of the name Liga Privada. Additionally, this private blend is truly super-complex and should be explored by the dudes and dudettes who typically smoke smaller rings, even those who smoke lanceros. Super Ancho is just different.”
Available exclusively as an event-only cigar to Drew Diplomat Program partners, Liga Privada H99 Super Ancho is packaged in 25-count boxes. Limited to three boxes per event, the Liga Privada H99 Super Ancho is available from May to August with an MSRP of $21.14 per cigar or $507.36 per box.
